Featured: Style Me Pretty Crystal & Steven {Santa Barbara Wedding}

Happy two year anniversary to Crystal and Steven! Their special day was memorable in so many ways. This fiesta of a wedding took place at the historic El Presidio State Park in downtown Santa Barbara, the reception followed just blocks down the street at the authentic El Paseo Restaurant. There was an amazing mariachi band and so many family and friends there to celebrate with the gorgeous bride and her handsome groom on their special day. The bride took pride in her Mexican heritage. She incorporated the feel of Mexico in so many ways; from the white paper flowers she brought back from Mexico, to the banderita mini flags, to the papel picado banners, to the dahlia's which are Mexico's national flower, to the custom pinata filled with rose petals. Oh yeah and their wedding date was on 9.15.12 which is Mexico's Independence day! Wow, so many details that we are still SWOONING over! Please head over to SMP read more about their fiesta and to check out more of Tyler Branch's picturesque shots of Crystal and Steven's big day. We are so happy to see this adorable couple going so strong, cheers and happy anniversary!

Featured: Green Wedding Shoes {An Outdoor Wedding with Lots of DIY Paper Details: Melissa + Torrey}

Melissa and Torrey's wedding was more than two years ago and we still think about how amazing it was!  GWS featured this couple's wedding to showcase the inspiring DIY projects that Melissa and Torrey incorporated into their special day.  The location of the wedding was at the gorgeous Condor's Nest Ranch.  We have shot there many times and every wedding is absolutely stunning.  To make their wedding unique and special, Melissa and Torrey created vibrant paper flowers and an art backdrop for the head table made of bright and bold rolled paper.  In addition, they used colorful ribbons as decor on the trellis, in the greenery at the venue, and as the backdrop for the candy bar.  Checkout photos from Annie McElwain Photography for more inspiration at GWS.  We hope all of you DIY brides enjoy this video!

Featured: Style Me Pretty {Vintage French Country Wedding}

Meghan and Stan's wedding was featured on Style Me Pretty back in November. We are thrilled to share this special video with everyone! Meghan and Stan's wedding was a picturesque day in July. The venue, Villa Sevillano, is a beautiful Italian Villa with olive trees, citrus trees, horse stables, and rose gardens. The ladies at La Fete Weddings helped the couple plan their special day from start to finish. The details were amazing, we fell in love with the vintage French country theme. The guests were given fans to keep cool during the ceremony, flip flops to dance in, and shawls to keep warm in during the reception, talk about thoughtful! To see more of this special day checkout our video and  head on over to SMP to see more photos from Stephanie Hogue Photography.

Destination Wedding: Alison and Blake {Puerto Vallarta, Mexico}

Over the years we have had the pleasure of traveling to some amazing places to shoot destination weddings. We have traveled to Ireland, Wisconsin, Napa Valley, Colorado, and one of our favorite places that we have traveled to is Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. Alison and Blake's wedding in Puerto Vallarta was at a beautiful private beach called Las Caletas. It is a gorgeous private beach with amazing ocean views. When we travel to faraway places to shoot weddings we want our bride and groom to be excited to share their video with family and friends, especially those who were not able to attend. Our goal is to create a video that captures the scenery, the day, and the location just as it was on the couple's special day. On Alison and Blake's wedding day rained during the ceremony and reception, but that did not stop this couple or their guests from having a great time. We hope you enjoy the dance moves from Alison and Blake!

Throw Back Thursday: Veronica & Evan {Napa, California}

We could not think of a better video for this post; Veronica and Evan's Napa Valley wedding was posted on Once Wed in February of 2012 and we totally understand why! The photos that Elizabeth Messina captured are breathtaking and they showcase how elegant and timeless this couple's wedding day was. The details of this wedding were so amazing. The bride and groom really thought about everything! They had a plein air painter during cocktail hour, vintage Polaroid cameras, a live band, and a flip book photo booth. Yes, we said a flip book photo booth, it was so cool! We hope you enjoy this video and all of the amazing details as much as we do.

Julie & Paul {Santa Barbara, CA}

Julie and Paul's wedding day was absolutely stunning! The girls at Sterling Social set the mood for a rustic and whimsical day. While shooting this wedding we were very inspired. The weather was great, the couple was so excited, and their family and friends were having a great time. Oh yeah, it was also a bonus that their wedding location was in sunny Santa Barbara at Rancho Dos Pueblos. The ceremony overlooked the ocean and the reception was in a beautiful, rustic barn. The flowers by JL Designs were shades of white with greenery draped and cascading everywhere. This was such an amazing wedding and we were thrilled that we captured their big day
